Supply Chain Integration Leader, GE Additive

Sean began his career with GE in 1990 in Military Turbine Design engineering and spent 16 years in design engineering working on military and commercial turbine, fan, and compressor airfoils.  He was a member of the Turbine Mechanical Design Board and holds 18 patents.  

In 2006 he was promoted to Program Manager, Avio RSP Programs, Supply Chain, located in Torino, Italy.  In 2008 he returned to Cincinnati, Ohio and for the next five years led large global design engineering teams working on new product introductions, legacy engine field support, and manufacturing support.  His areas of responsibility included Structures, Fan and Booster Module, and High Pressure Turbine Module.

In April of 2013 Sean became the Engineering Leader for Services Time on Wing, responsible for developing and executing the overall engineering/product strategy to improve fleet time on wing.  In October of 2014 Sean became the Supply Chain Next Generation Manufacturing leader.  In this role, he was responsible for maturing and industrializing manufacturing technologies in additive, composites, and turbine airfoils.  

Sean joined GE Additive in October of 2016 as the Supply Chain Integration leader.  In this role he is responsible for integrating Arcam and Concept Laser Supply Chains into the GE Store, for overall GE Additive footprint strategy, capacity growth, operational excellence, and EHS. 

Sean received his BS in Chemical Engineering and MBA in Operations Management degrees from the University of Cincinnati.
