Helena Leurent works at the World Economic Forum, a unique global community of business, political, academic and other civic leaders committed to improving the state of the world by shaping global, regional and industry agendas. As Head of Government Engagement and Future of Production, and Member of the Executive Committee, Helena is responsible for developing and ensuring a systematic and sustained engagement of all relevant governments and international organizations in Forum activities. Moreover, she is responsible for the Shaping the Future of Production system initiative.
Previously, Helena held several executive positions including ‘Managing Director and Head of Business Engagement’ where she managed existing relationships with Forum’s Members and generated new value propositions for partnerships with companies in emerging markets; and ‘Director, Head of Food and Beverage Industry', as she developed the Industry Partnership programme for Agriculture, Food & Beverage companies.
Prior to joining the World Economic Forum, Helena worked for McKinsey & Co, primarly serving companies in media and consumer goods. Her career started in management consulting at The LEK Partnership and subsequently with Tesco Stores Plc in marketing and hypermarket development.
Helena holds a MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and an MA in Modern History and Modern Languages from Oxford University. Helena lives in Geneva with her husband Tom and children.
