Diego Andreis is the managing director of Fluid-­o-­Tech, a family business with more than 60 years of experience in the engineering and manufacturing of positive displacement pumps and fluidics systems for the automotive, medical, foodservice and industrial field. The company has a direct presence in Italy, UK, USA, China, Japan. Quality and Innovation are the company strategic pillars: the factory is considered a model example for the Industry 4.0, the 6% of revenue is invested in R&D involving 17% of its staff. For two consecutive years it has been awarded with the National Prize for Innovation by the President of the Italian Republic.

A passionate experimenter of innovation models, in 2013 he founded F­Lab, an innovation center that leverage open innovation dynamics to accelerate the innovation process where highly qualified engineers and designers work together with universities, companies and experts on new technologies and new materials to explore and develop innovative solutions with impact on human health, nutrition and wellness in the field of medical equipment and beverage dispensing systems. In 2014 Diego founded Dolphin Fluidics, which designs advanced fluidic systems based on the integration of non­conventional technologies.

Andreis is President of the Mechatronics Group Assolombarda, Vice President of Federmeccanica (Federation of Metalworking Industries), in charge of relations with multinationals and large enterprises in Europe and President of the European employers' organization CEEMET for 2016­2018, the Federation of European firms active in the mechanics, engineering and technology sectors, representing 200,000 companies.
