CEO Industry Automation Division, Siemens AG

Anton S. Huber began his career at Siemens in the Semiconductor Group in 1979. After working in various technical and business positions, he assumed a leading role in the acquisition of Bendix Electronics and its subsequent integration into Siemens Automotive LP in the United States in 1989.


In 1991, he became President and CEO of Siemens Automotive LP. In 1996, he took over as the head of the Process Automation and Instrumentation Division of the Siemens Automation and Drives (A&D) Group.


In 1998, Mr. Huber led the integration of the Westinghouse unit for conventional power stations that was acquired by Siemens, into the Power Generation Group (KWU).  In October 1999, Mr. Huber was promoted to Vice President of the A&D Group, responsible for product development and production, as well as for business development in the Asia Pacific region.


Since January 2008, Mr. Huber has been the President and CEO of the Industry Automation Division of Siemens, an 8 billion Euro organization employing 42.000 people worldwide.
